Grapes for Vite Coltre come from the vineyards of the best areas of Piedmont and from the hands of the most experienced and careful winemakers, that represent the cutting edge of the partners of Terre da Vino: in the Vite Colte project one hundred eighty growers participate, who cultivate three hundred hectares, a part of which are in conversion to organic, the others in integrated management.
Every winegrower devotes only a part of his/her property to the Vite Coltre project, in order to ensure to it the most assiduous care, in a constant dialogue with the agronomic technical assistance. He/she is a real winemaker, which puts all the skills, passion and face, just like those who make wine and bottle with their label. His/her names are Giovanni, Evasio, Berto, Margherita: behind each Vite Colte label there are faces and stories, that we want to tell.
They harvest in the stated date, vinify in separate tanks, follow the wine also in the cellar created following strict protocols and with all the attentions that the pursuit of excellence requires, favoring minimal technological intervention.
«We declare the ambition to get out of the comfort zone of the "excellent value for money", to aim higher, where the stars shine – chairman Piero Quadrumolo said.
We have everything we need: a wealth of vineyards, that means being able to choose the best; the most talented and motivated vintners of the group, with their families; modern winemaking plants, the technology that is needed to preserve and enhance the quality of the grapes; a first–rate technical team, coordinated by Daniele Eberle in the country and Bruno Cordero in the winery; finally, the great responsibility to support the economy of hundreds of peasant families, who every day drives us forward.
This idea, which grew first in our mind and then in reality, over the years has taken shape, substance and only in the end a name: Vite Colte.
For Terre da Vino it is a turning point: much is the road made, the one to run has just begun».
