Journalists, professionals, and representatives from the financial and agri-food sectors attended the evening to support the Le Manzane winery's charitable project.

" Thanks to the proceeds from the ®Vendemmia Solidale, a real school will be built in place of this shed." With these words, Father Peppino concluded his video message broadcast yesterday evening during the charity dinner organized by the Della Frera Foundation and the In My Father's House mission at the prestigious Grand Hotel Villa Torretta – Curio Collection by Hilton. The evening, part of the larger ®Vendemmia Solidale project, was an important fundraising event to support the construction of a school in Adanu, Ghana.

During the dinner, the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Solidale 2025 was presented, the product of the 14th annual Vendemmia Solidale (Solidarity Harvest) and made with grapes harvested last September 7th at the Le Manzane winery by over 500 aspiring winemakers. The evening was attended by approximately eighty guests, including journalists, professionals, and representatives from the financial and agri-food sectors.

After a speech by Guido Della Frera, president of the Foundation, Ernesto, Marco, and Anna Balbinot, owners of the Le Manzane winery, retraced the project's key milestones: from the first ®Vendemmia Solidale to the creation of the Braille label dedicated to the blind, from support for Sammy Basso's association to the current international commitment in Ghana with the fourteenth edition.

Mario Cincotto, a volunteer with the In My Father's House association, explained the work of Father Giuseppe Rabbiosi, known to all as Father Peppino, the Comboni missionary who has been working in Africa for over fifty years to combat poverty, illiteracy, and child labor. "Everything the volunteers collect in Italy," Cincottto explained, "arrives promptly in Ghana."

A highlight of the evening was the charity auction of five bottles of great historical and oenological value, including a 1968 Barolo Capellano and a 1956 Port, donated by Fausto Coppi to his friend Ercole Cesano and donated by his nephew Daniele Riva. The charity dinner concluded with the sale of the 2025 Conegliano Valdobbiadene Solidale, which, along with the Francesco Galifi calendar presented a week ago at the Le Manzane winery and last night's charity dinner, will contribute to the ®Vendemmia Solidale fundraiser for the construction of a school in Ghana.

The In My Father's House association was officially founded in 2002 by Father Giuseppe Rabbiosi, a missionary in Africa since 1974. The NGO, based in Abor, in southeastern Ghana, is responsible for the construction and management of kindergartens and schools, healthcare, agricultural development, the construction of wells for drinking water, and food assistance for the poorest. The organization's headquarters is a village house with various levels of schools attended by 800 students and home to approximately 150 children and youth in dire need. Over time, management of the missionaries' creation has been transferred to Ghanaian staff—30 employees and 120 teachers—to promote the community's independence.

Le Manzane winery is located in San Pietro di Feletto (Treviso), halfway between the Dolomites and Venice, in the hilly area of the province of Treviso, in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore hills, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 7, 2019. The family-run company has been deeply rooted in the Treviso area, having been a producer for over 40 years. The winery, one of the most dynamic and interesting in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene winemaking scene, distributes both in Italy and abroad, reaching over 30 countries.
