The Consorzio Vini Venezia will be present in Cortina d'Ampezzo on Thursday 19 February 2026 , from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, in the spaces of the Casa Veneto of the Region during the official initiatives of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games .

The event will be dedicated to the presentation and promotion of the five appellations protected by the Consortium: Malanotte del Piave, Lison DOCG, Venezia DOC, Lison Pramaggiore DOC, and Piave DOC . This tasting session will showcase the wines of the Serenissima and their deep connection to the Veneto region to an international audience. The experience aims to offer Casa Veneto guests a journey through Treviso, Venice, and Pordenone, discovering the tradition, quality, and winemaking history of these places, rich in art, culture, and food and wine.

"Being present in Cortina during the Winter Olympics," says Stefano Quaggio , director of the Consorzio Vini Venezia, "represents an extraordinary opportunity for dialogue with the world. Our wines are ambassadors of a unique territory, capable of combining historical and cultural context with an international vision, authentic traditions with comprehensive sustainability that looks to the future."

The Consortium's participation is part of the Casa Veneto strategic territorial promotion project , a venue for representing and promoting regional excellence during the world-class sporting event. The initiative, in turn, is part of the structured Veneto in Action program, which since 2020 has aimed to strengthen the regional identity through the visibility and development opportunities inherent in the Winter Olympic Games.
