Wine consumption in Italy is slowly recovering, however, national stocks continue to decline. As of March 31, 2024, in Italian wine factories there are 53.2 million hectoliters of wine, 4.5 million hectoliters of
musts and 93 thousand hectoliters of new wine still in fermentation. Compared to the previous year, a decline in inventories is observed for all product categories, with lower values compared to both 2023 and February 2024.
