The Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry from the Monfumo (TV) winery elected BEST PROSECCO at “The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships” 2023.

Tenuta Amadio 's Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry 2022 won the title of Best Prosecco at the latest edition of The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships , the most prestigious global competition dedicated to bubbles.

A title that places the Monfumo winery, led by Simone and Silvia Rech, at the top of national and international oenology, confirming the winemaking vocation of a unique territory in the world.

For the first time , in fact, the Regional Champion Best Prosecco award - which decrees the best interpretation of the entire Prosecco world - was assigned to a label of the "Asolo Prosecco" denomination.

“It is a great satisfaction to receive this recognition from experts of the caliber of Tom Stevenson, Essi Avellan and George Markus – comments Simone Rech – and we are even more proud to have obtained this result with our Asolo Prosecco DOCG, a wine that is the most authentic expression of our love for the hills where we live and work. A precious territory, rich in history and culture, which we must preserve and enhance also through oenology of absolute excellence and always respectful of the environment".

A pursuit of excellence, that of Tenuta Amadio, also recognized by " The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships " , the most authoritative competition in the world on sparkling wines created by one of the reference tasters in the bubbles panorama: Tom Stevenson. The tasting rules are strict: all tastings are conducted blind, the wines in competition are poured into coded glasses before being submitted to the judges, the jury never sees the bottles being tasted, not even covered. A rigor that rewards only quality.

Tenuta Amadio is a young and innovative company led by Simone Rech who, together with his sister Silvia, inherited the family property in Monfumo (TV) from their grandfather, transforming it into a sustainable and international company. The distinctive characteristics of Tenuta Amadio are 360 degree sustainability, not only in the vineyard but in the entire production process, and the attention to the territory which comes through the rediscovery of some ancient vines, such as "Bianchetta Trevigiana" .
The wines of Tenuta Amadio are born in Monfumo, in the heart of the "Asolo Prosecco" denomination and are the result of a production chain characterized by cutting-edge technology, rigorously controlled, and of a processing of the grapes carried out entirely by hand.
