«Prosecco is loved for its taste and for its ability to be friendly. It is loved for its cheerful tone, at the same time capable of generating "intimacy"; for his wisdom in generating "nearness" among people; for its composure to build a warm and friendly atmosphere typical of the fireplace (hearth), of the family gathered to enjoy peace and a bit of serenity« This is what emerges from the new research of December by Prosecco Lab, the new observatory that investigates the trends of Prosecco, wanted by the Consortium and entrusted to SWG Spa.

Research says that Prosecco is known by 91% of adult Italians (over 45 million people). They know it well or very well, 71% of people and just under nine million consumers are thinking about how to consecrate the wine of holidays.

Prosecco is one of the rulers of the tables of this Christmas 2015. 17% of Italians (or nearly 9 million people) will buy it to bring it to the table, toast with friends, enjoy moments of happiness at home or in clubs. People choose Prosecco for its taste (38%), because it brings cheerfulness (35%), because it is a conviviality maker (31%) and then for its versatility and the ability to combine different types of food (16%).
