The Trentino Wine Consortium will be the protagonist of a roundtable discussion at the CSR and Social Innovation Show entitled "Guardians of the Territory: Wine Protection Consortia: Quality, Critical Issues, and Sustainability."

It is with this awareness that the Consorzio Vini del Trentino will bring its decades of experience to the 13th CSR and Social Innovation Fair , the key event for sustainability in Italy, which will be held in Milan at Bocconi University from 8 to 10 October 2025. This year's edition, with the emblematic title "Creating Valuable Futures" , invites reflection on the urgency of strengthening synergies to respond to global challenges and "play a leading role in the second half of the game of sustainable development".

Against this backdrop, Graziano Molon, General Manager of the Trentino Wine Consortium, will speak at the Round Table discussion "Guardians of the Territory: Wine Consortia: Quality, Critical Issues, and Sustainability," scheduled for Thursday, October 9, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM . In a strategic dialogue with other leading organizations (Prosecco DOC Consortium, Vini delle Venezie DOC Consortium, Sicilian DOC Consortium, and CREA Research Center for Viticulture and Oenology), an assessment of the sustainability practices adopted in Italian wine regions will be provided.

The debate, coordinated by Laura Ricci (Founder & Senior Sustainability Advisor at Linfa Consulting), will focus on three key thematic axes . It will begin with the sustainability vision , analyzing how each consortium balances its unique characteristics with market pressures and regulations. It will continue by analyzing the tools and projects , delving into the concrete actions—from certifications to training programs—implemented to translate the vision into daily practice. Finally, the impacts, critical issues, and future vision will be addressed, discussing the results achieved, the obstacles encountered, and the conditions necessary to scale the sector's ecological transition.

The Consorzio Vini del Trentino will present its journey , based on a collaborative approach that has made sustainability a cornerstone of its identity. In a context of heroic mountain viticulture , with challenging slopes, altitudes reaching 1,000 meters, and severe land fragmentation, sustainability is not an option, but a necessity to ensure a balance between environmental protection, winemaking quality, and socioeconomic safeguards.

" The CSR and Social Innovation Show represents an important moment for us," emphasizes Albino Zenatti, President of the Consorzio Vini del Trentino, "on the one hand, to present our many years of experience in sustainability to a knowledgeable audience and on the other, to engage with other national players in both our sector and others. In addition to promoting the Consorzio Vini del Trentino project in a privileged setting, it will also be a tremendous opportunity for training and networking with strategic stakeholders."

The Trentino strategy has translated into concrete and measurable actions: from the adoption of the SQNPI (National Quality System for Integrated Production) certification , which has been adopted by almost all members, to the publication of two sustainability reports , tools for transparent and participatory reporting. This commitment, recently crowned by the prestigious Vinarius Territory Award , is not a point of arrival. It is the foundation for a future in which the Consortium intends to further strengthen dialogue with communities and enhance biodiversity.

The meeting at Bocconi will be a crucial opportunity not only to share a successful model, but also to foster a constructive dialogue, convinced that, as the Consortium's vision states, sustainability is not a finish line, but a horizon toward which we must continue to strive, together.
