AT "FIERAGRICOLA TECH" VENETO AGRICULTURE FOCUSES ON WATER, A PRECIOUS RESOURCE TO CAPTURE, KEEP AND NOT WASTE

Two days of insights, training and business meetings for operators in the agricultural sector. This is how the first edition of " Fieragricola Tech " presents itself, a showcase of technologies and solutions to support the agricultural world, scheduled for 1 and 2 February next at Veronafiere at the PalaExpo. The innovative format of the trade fair, made up of exhibition spaces but above all of a rich schedule of highly qualified technical events, proposed with a practical and useful slant for operators in the primary sector, aims to support the challenges of the transition ecological and deepen the application of new agricultural policies .

Three thematic areas, closely interconnected with each other, which will be explored during the "two days" of the exhibition: robotics and digital ; renewable energies in agriculture; the technologies and solutions necessary for good water management.

And it will be precisely on the theme of the water resource in agriculture that the participation of Veneto Agricoltura in " Fieragricola Tech " will be concentrated. The Agency of the Veneto Region will in fact be present with its own exhibition space dedicated to water and in particular to a series of European projects that have seen it as a protagonist in recent years focused on the capture and retention of this precious element when it is present in abundance (heavy rainfall) and its rational use and without waste when it is deficient (dry periods). Furthermore, always on this important topic Veneto Agricoltura will propose a focus , scheduled for Thursday 2 February from 15:30 to 16:45 entitled: " Technologies for H20. H2O for agriculture ". The meeting will be attended by Lorenzo Furlan and Davide Misturini of Veneto Agricoltura, who will talk about technological innovations for irrigation, presenting a series of field experiences carried out at the pilot and demonstration farms " ValleVecchia " of Caorle (Ve) and " Sasse Rami " of Ceregnano (Ro), and Francesco Domenichini of ARPAV who will illustrate the new technologies for forecasting rainfall to support irrigation decisions.
