O2 and SO2 the issues addressed in the two masterclasses on natural wine. In the press conference on Sunday 12 February VinNatur and Vi.Te will talk about the future of the sector.

The event is enriched with the announcement of an official presentation to the press , which will see the organizing associations as protagonists of an all-round discussion on the future of natural wine, and with two masterclasses designed to get a close-up understanding of the natural wine scene.
On Sunday at 12.00 , Angiolino Maule and Gabriele Da Prato , presidents of VinNatur and Vi.Te. respectively, will accompany those present in the debate Confronti Naturali , a reflection on the potential of oenology which operates without the use of artificial substances, also involving the producers of the two associations.
The scheduled masterclasses will be held at 16.00 . On Sunday 12 February the appointment O2 – The relationship with oxygen will be staged, where it will be explained how contact with the air can ennoble good wines. The tasting will take place blindly with a parallel comparison of three labels that have faced a different path with the air, before arriving in the glass. On the other hand, Monday 13 February will be the time for SO2 – The sulphite knot , an opportunity to explore whether and how sulfur dioxide affects the perception of the flavors and aromas of a wine and whether this can give different expressive facets and organoleptic. For an accurate evaluation, Vi.Na.Ri. will offer a blind tasting of three wines produced and bottled, with and without added sulphites: a direct comparison that starts from references having the same origin and production method, with the only variation being the quantity of SO2 present in them.
Moderating the meetings of Vi.Na.Ri. there will be Samuel Cogliati Gorlier , Italian-French journalist and popularizer, founder of Possibilia Editore and member of the editorial staff and tasting committee of the French magazine LeRouge&leBlanc .
Sunday's presentation will be open to the press only, while to access the masterclasses a symbolic contribution of 10.00 euros and online booking is required at the website bit.ly/vinari_scrizioni
Vi.Na.Ri. will bring together more than 150 natural winemakers in Milan who will come from all over Italy and from abroad, with some producers from Argentina, Bordeaux and Slovenia. To accompany the two days, the gastronomic proposal of the Italian street food of Trapizzino .
