To identify the wines, certified vegan and coming from native vines, five bioindicators represented on the label.

Five labels that narrate the Abruzzo region and that appeal to those consumers who pay more and more attention to the impact of their behavior on the environment, more and more alert and aware of their choices.
What distinguishes the bottles of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo PDO, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo PDO, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo PDO, Terre di Chieti PGI Pecorino and Terre di Chieti PGI Passerina are the labels , which show the illustration of five bioindicators : five insects which, with their lifestyle habits, signal the good quality of the air and soil in which the vineyards are grown.
"Cantina Tollo has always been committed to safeguarding and protecting the environment - says Tonino Verna , President of Cantina Tollo - and with this new line it wanted to pay tribute to the insects that accompany our members' activities in the vineyard daily, and that help them in the defense of the territory. Today more than ever we must pay attention to the signals of the earth, learning to listen to it and respect it, producing consciously ".
The wines of the new Cantina Tollo line are also certified vegan : no animal-derived substances are used in the entire production cycle. Even the packaging of the bottles is eco-sustainable: the capsule is in ecological material and without PVC, the labels are in natural paper with recycled fibers and cotton, the box in recycled cardboard.
The Biological Line, intended for the Ho.Re.Ca channel, is available both in Italy and abroad.

Who we are | Tollo winery
Cantina Tollo is today among the most important and consolidated companies in the Italian wine sector. It markets 13 million bottles a year, boasts about 700 members and 2,700 hectares cultivated in an area that has always been suited to wine production. The vineyards of Cantina Tollo extend from the hills of the coast to the slopes of the Maiella, in a typically Mediterranean climate, characterized by significant temperature excursions. The production is concentrated on the typical and indigenous vines of the area (Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina and Cococciola), traditionally cultivated with a pergola, with a marked vocation for experimentation in the field and in the cellar.
Cantina Tollo bottles are distributed in all Italian regions, in almost all the countries of the European Union, in particular Germany, the Netherlands, France, Denmark and the United Kingdom and, overseas, in Japan, the United States, Canada. Cantina Tollo also looks to new emerging markets such as Russia, India and China.
