Mario Piccini tells about the entrepreneurial choice of the Piccini wine group to face the ongoing emergency.

This concludes the spot of Tenute Piccini, broadcast from Easter in the early evening on the Mediaset channels, a wish that wants to be a message of hope for the whole country. In a few seconds of shooting, images of empty cities leave room for the immensity of the Tuscan panoramas and the beauty of the rows of vines, as if to say that nature does not stop and, indeed, awaits patiently in our return to action.
The communication desired by the company based in Castellina in Chianti (SI) fully reflects the entrepreneurial vision of its patron Mario Piccini , CEO of the company, in the idea that once again despite the difficulties, the country will know how to get up again by showing courage and willpower. Moved by this belief Mario Piccini has made important choices from the beginning of this emergency inspired by the values of solidarity and responsibility. In such a dramatic moment for Italy, the company decided to donate 30,000 masks to the civil protection delegations of Tuscany, Lombardy and Liguria and to join the charity initiative put in place by a well-known e-commerce portal, who will donate € 1 to the Sacco Hospital in Milan for each bottle sold of the references of Torre Mora, the Piccini family estate on Etna. On the domestic front, Mario Piccini has decided to continue, with even greater impact, the investments of the wine group starting from the two sectors considered vital for the company: people and vineyards . In a time of global crisis where uncertainty affects the action of many, Piccini has committed itself with its employees first and secondly with customers and suppliers, to keep production running and thus guarantee employment for full time and without the need for layoffs for all company employees. "We have kept all the production sites active, respecting the rules of the DPCM in order to continue guaranteeing the communication of the products of our Made in Italy, both in Italy and abroad" , says Mario Piccini, CEO of the Company. "We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have been able, in our small way, to maintain high levels of employment without activating tools such as layoffs." To ensure greater safety for employees and work continuity, Piccini has divided the operational team into two separate teams that are working alternately but who are guaranteed wages despite the rest shifts. Investments continue not only from the production point of view, but also in the countryside, where new vineyards have been planted both at Fattoria di Valiano, the Piccini family's farm in the heart of the Chianti Classico in Castelnuovo Berardenga, and at Tenuta Moraia, in the wild Tuscan Maremma in the province of Grosseto. "United we will be able to overcome even this difficult moment," concludes Mario Piccini "and we from Piccini want to give a signal of hope to all of Italy: together we will start again. After all, we are the country that has dedicated centuries to creating masterpieces in the name of excellence, masterpieces that the whole world admires and that today more than ever must inspire our actions ".
