Milan, 10 October 2021 - A prestigious location, a selection of wineries from all over Italy and compliance with the regulations required to guarantee safety and interpersonal distancing. These are the ingredients of Fermento Milano , the event now in its 5th edition, dedicated to all wine lovers who will offer the opportunity to taste wines from small and authentic wineries and learn about their origins, philosophy and curiosities, led by producers, speakers and FISAR personal sommelier and Slow Wine and Wine Bank teachers.
This year the setting of the appointment organized by FISAR Milan (Italian Federation of Sommeliers Hoteliers and Restaurateurs) will change: the Grand Visconti Palace , a few steps from Porta Romana, will provide the best spaces to offer an immersive experience to Fermento's participants Milan.
The event will be hosted in the Porta Romana room and in the Porta Ticinese room which will host the thematic masterclasses, in the Porta Vittoria room which will be available for associations and consortia and in the Winter Garden where the Enoteca di Fermento Milano will be set up.
The Enoteca with its tastings at the counter will give the opportunity to taste numerous labels together with a personal sommelier who will accompany his guests to discover the production realities and will illustrate the characteristics of the products to be tasted, as well as suggesting the best combinations and indicating which one is the most suitable for any occasion.
The wine tasting list is constantly updated.
The Masterclasses , conducted by the FISAR Sommelier Teachers , will take place from 10.30 to 22.00 and can be followed either in person or remotely.
In fact, those enrolled in the masterclasses will be able to decide to follow the tasting in the established hall (and set up in compliance with the rules aimed at guaranteeing safety and interpersonal distancing), or they will be able to receive at home the samples of the wines of the chosen masterclass and follow it live in livestreaming mode from wherever they prefer.
