A 20-aisle smart warehouse

The heart of the system is the high-capacity automatic warehouse.

There are 20 storage lanes , organised on 4 superimposed levels , each composed of 5 parallel lanes.
Each aisle can hold up to 35 packs , for a total average of approximately 768 units , depending on the format (for example 1.5 or 2 litre square packs).

Maximum package dimensions:

Each lane is moved by a chain with push fins that conveys the product towards the robotic system.
The drive is via gearmotors with patented automatic clutches , to guarantee precision, safety and operational continuity.

The thrust speed is 10 meters/minute , variable according to the cycle settings.

Dual-axis robotic arm: industrial precision

The picking system is based on a 2-axis (X and Y) robotic arm with gripping transfer .

• X-axis: sliding on recirculating ball guides, motorization with closed loop chain, reading via encoder
• Y-axis: sliding on recirculating ball guides, motorization with closed loop chain, reading via encoder

The inverters, integrated with the encoders, allow the interpolation of the axes to optimize pick-up and unload times.
This means greater speed, less wear, more reliability.

A belt conveyor is installed on the arm shelf, capable of picking up to 2 packages per cycle , directing them towards the exit system.

Double guillotine exit system: safety and control

The ejection system is designed to ensure:

• Tamper protection
• Product safety
• Flow control

It is composed of a double guillotine placed on top of the ejection belt :

1. The arm deposits the product into the compartment with the first guillotine open.
2. The first one closes automatically.
3. The second one opens, allowing controlled exit towards the freewheel conveyor.

This mechanism prevents unwanted access to the inside of the machine.

Control panel: Industry 4.0 ready

The REVOLUTION 20 2.0 Special integrates an advanced management system.

Main components:

• 2.0 sheet metal panel with greater depth, protected from atmospheric agents
• Internal air conditioner for cooling and dehumidifying monitors and payment systems
• Industrial PC with data exchange towards basic warehouse management system

The industrial PC allows:

• Integration with management software
• Sales traceability
• Remote monitoring
• Compliance with the technological requirements set by Industry 4.0

For the electrical system, the following is required:

• A 0.3 A differential
• An Ethernet cable for data line

• Instant crediting of transactions
• Compatible with magnetic stripe, chip and contactless cards

Allows SEPA/SWIFT transfers to any account in the world.
It does not require a dedicated traditional bank account.
It is self-contained and does not require external apps to function.

• Reader of age CRT288 (for the sale of alcohol)
• Internal protective box with key lock for readers and coins

Customer Interface: Simple and modern experience

The customer interacts via:

• 21” touch screen
• 32” monitor (optional for advertising)
• Audio system (optional) with voice guidance

Through the touch screen you can:

• Select product and quantity
• View the amount
• Choose your payment method

The system automatically handles change in case of cash payment.

The dispenser is housed in a 20-foot High Cube container , ready for operational installation.
