Antica Trattoria della Pesa is one of the oldest restaurants in Milan, located right where in the nineteenth century the goods coming from out of town were weighed for the duty.

In this way, that small venue opened by Alberto Pepori from Galleno, a district of Fucecchio, became – it was already in 1926 – the meeting place for writers, artists and journalists.
