Osteria Al Bianchi

The first historical documents report the current tavern as Caffè San Giuseppe, located in Contrada San Giorgio, then Via San Giorgio and in the end Via Gasparo da Salò at the number 12, currently street number 32. The first report with the name of Caffè Giuseppe dates back to 1880 and continues with this documented sign until 1907. Since then it has been reported as café without sign. In 1910 Via San Giorgio is called Gasparo da Salò; only in 1933 the venue in question (tavern) is reported, but there may be a typographical error. Then, it resumed the title of Café, arriving in 1963 to be named a tavern. In addition, given the continuation of the long management of the holder Bianchi, the venue in question was reported as Caffè Bianchi, to arrive to recent times to be named with the sign "Osteria al Bianchi". The tavern offers its guests traditional dishes of Brescia made ​​with the skills and love of those who believe in the importance of traditions and popular knowledge. We have also a winery of quality wines, both native and from other regions.

Trattoria Amici del Bafo is located in an old courtyard of the seventeenth century immersed in an atmosphere of extreme relaxation, where you can enjoy many specialties from Brescia.

The peculiarity of this building is that, once inside, there are no sources of interference from the outside and open spaces can be enjoyed safely.

The Il Melograno tavern is located at the foot of a hill and has a large outdoor area with possibility to have lunch on the porch or in a number of small internal air conditioned rooms. The cook Roberta dusts off the scent of her dishes from the memories of when her mother was preparing these dishes at weddings, which were organized in the farmyards of farms, proposing mixed starters with fried dumplings, pumpkin ravioli, Tagliatelle al Salmì, Malfatti, stew with polenta, beef of the house, sliced meat, excellent chocolate cake and amaretto parfait. The owner Fausto recommends excellent local and national wines.

Trattoria Porteri

The G.A. Porteri tavern is located in the center of Borgo Trento, one of the historic districts of Brescia,
the atmosphere that you breathe entering the venue is typical of the inns of the past.

Brick, wood, copper, ceramics and yellowed by time photographs hanging on the walls form the backdrop to a typical of Brescia cuisine.

The tavern, opened in 1995, is located right next to the historic Salumeria Portieri that, since 1875, has been selecting for its customers quality salami and cheese.

Entering the tavern you immediately feel the warmth of a family, Raoul with their employees, welcoming and helpful, work to delight their guests by offering, in a simple but elegant way, traditional dishes prepared as in bygone days.

And exactly the phrase "chèl che passa él convent" on the menu embodies the spirit of the kitchen: a selection of salami and cold cuts, cheese, Malfatti al Bagoss, Casoncelli, homemade pastas, beef in oil, stuffed rabbit, ribs of lamb, Polenta that is always present. Even desserts are prepared daily by Graziella and Marco.

This home cooking proposal is accompanied by an interesting list of Italian wines, focusing on Franciacorta.

Trattoria La Campagnola Costalunga is a restaurant in Brescia able to restore the atmosphere of the countryside of the past.

Since 1948, in a beautifully restored old farmhouse, surrounded by rolling hills and lots of greenery, away from the hustle and worries of everyday, it offers great food and great hospitality.

The La Trattoria 1960 restaurant is an elegant, refined venue in the Brescia area. Renovated and expanded in 2005 with two new rooms and a private parking place, obtained the Golden Medal in 2006 and the "Forchetta d’Oro" ("Golden Fork") in 2007.

Alle Rose tavern was founded in 1985 by an idea of Rosanna Fa and Gianni Briarava.
