We are in the heart of Pordenone, a short walk from the Town Hall and the Mantica Palace, where exhibitions and conferences take place. Walking through history and buildings, here we come at Vecia Osteria del Moro, at the beginning of a narrow street just behind the Chamber of Commerce, and then exiting the course.
It was awarded with a gold plate by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on 9th March 2009, as it is a premis with historical and artistic value and furnishings, located inside a building of proven architectural value. Opening a small wooden door it is like entering a convent. In effect, this building that dates back to the fourteenth century was a convent. The ceilings of the rooms are vaulted, the entrance is tiny, with two wooden benches where you can drink tajut and have a chat with patron Ilario, who has been officiating here for 26 years. Sitting at the tables, you can enjoy what the kitchen prepares in a typical local and regional way.
You will find seasonal dishes such as boiled meat, codfish, Cotechino with Brovada and horseradish, Trippe and snails with Polenta. All year round, the everlasting ’Radicchio and beans’ and many other dishes. A selection of wines which include many big names of the national production. To conclude, the homemade desserts prepared by his wife Solidea.

A characteristic, small wine bar with snacks and regional products, specialty raw ham of San Daniele del Friuli, cheese and cold cuts. Small tables inside and a counter for a total of about 18/20 seats, outside benches for a total of about 50 seats.
Among the most characteristic venues in the old town, also equipped with a nice garden with outdoor tables where to eat in summertime. The kitchen offers recipes of local tradition accompanied by a rich and well–conceived selection of labels of regional and national wines. Wide selection of hams of controlled origin and guaranteed. The venue has 35 seats.

The cuisine, inspired by the traditional and local products, is skillfully recreated by the talent of the chef, to offer guests pleasures of taste that are always new and exciting.
The Restaurant is composed of wide halls that can host about 60 people in an airy, very modern and elegant atmosphere, perfectly in line with the cuisine offered. These great halls are suited for wedding celebrations and business meetings. Moreover, there are smaller halls suited for business lunches and intimate dinners in accordance with the relaxing atmosphere of the place.
Il Pilacorte is located in the warm embrace of the Le Mura building in the historic and lively heart of Pordenone. From one side, it faces the river Noncello in a green area completely redeveloped and returned to the town, quiet, that perfectly balances the frenzy of Corso Emanuele or of Piazza della Motta; and from the other side it opens to the city center, through a series of lanes of ancient taste, where you can admire in all its majesty the San Marco bell tower until you get to the Cathedral of Pordenone.

It is situated in the small village in the mountains that is called Poffabro. The owner of the venue, Daniele Colussi, opened it in 2008 and the name of the restaurant (Macjoli e Brocons) derives from the Friulian words for “hammers” and “spikes”.
To guests, delicious homemade dishes are offered, which derive from ancient family recipes.
“Le Contrade” restaurant is located in a beautiful corner of the historical center of Sacile, one of the most characteristic of the town, between the Cathedral and the river Livenza.
Roberto Falcone has always had an inherent passion for food and wine culture, that developed with the collection of the best local wines of Friuli. In 2009 he took over and transformed the place into one of the most popular restaurants in the province. It managed to enrich it as Wine Bar of reference for lovers of good wine and professional tasters.
The environment is definitely warm and cozy, built in an integrated style that combines wood and stone, and that is able to interact seamlessly with the aesthetics of the dishes. You can taste wine in a warm and rather intimate atmosphere. The leather sofas located in the main room allow you to relax and enjoy after dinner even the best selected liqueurs.
Outside there is a terrace where you can eat quietly in the heart of the district without being disturbed by the noise of the town life.
In the warm seasons it becomes the perfect meeting place for summer evenings.
Inside, there is a room called “La Cantinetta”, where you can organize lunches, dinners and tastings of the fine wines that the restaurant has in its list.
“La Cantinetta” is placed in a corner that puts it in a situation of absolute privacy, which is ideal for private dinners or business lunches.
The peculiarity of this portion of the restaurant, is that of feeling pampered at home by the owner who does not lose sight of the needs of the customer.
You are surrounded by shelves with fine local wines, and the adjacency of the kitchen offers an atmosphere of pleasant familiarity mixing scents and flavors that remind us of the tradition.
As for the menu, it is balanced between meat and fish, even if a special attention in the kitchen is dedicated to fish, with themed dinners that are held every month with the combined offer of wines of the highest quality.
Every day the menu is enriched by novelties which are decided at the time of the expenditure, considering first of all the freshness of the products on which to base the menu.
The kitchen has a typical Veneto/Friuli base, but even in this case the contamination of the theme nights explores other Italian and foreign cuisines.
Not rare are wine and food events enlivened by music of quality, as it was in the case of the string quartet “The Holter Ensemble”, and others.
Another feature is the personal attention of the staff in the reception of customers, who feel immediately at ease. The various sections of the restarant allow you to fulfill all the demands of clients of various targets.
The wine list is remarkable, with more than 300 labels. As to remain faithful to the orientation towards native food, in this case Friuli wines are paramount, but there are plenty of great red wines from Tuscany, Piedmont and France. You can find a Barolo di Conterno, a Brunello Poggio alle Mura or a precious Bordeaux Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Even of the so–called “bubbles” there is a wide range, bringing out the champagne André Roger Gran Cru that Roberto Falcone has began to promote in addition to his restaurant. Now “Le Contrade” can be defined an excellence in the culinary landscape of the region, for the quality of the products offered that may find themselves in any place and be appreciated.
At Al Parco it is possible to organize pleasant weddings with aperitif in the garden, business lunches, representative lunches and dinners. The owners are specialized in business agreements, therefore, they offer companies excellent menus at a fixed price.
The structure can host 500 people in different halls and smaller rooms.
We design on request of companies menus of fish, meat or, alternatively, pizza baked in wood oven. We accept food stamps and credit cards. Fridays to Sundays “Al Parco Due Spiedo d’Oro”, a youthful venue where you can taste skewered or grilled meat and the famous cockerel, or organize parties for your birthday and more with music and dance.
The building of the ancient cutlery works is the testimony of the industrial archeology typical of the cutlery works of Maniago. The oldest part (end of the nineteenth century), with the original roof made of cedar wood coming from the surrounding woods and the masonry of stones of the stream Colvera, was the iron beater of old cutlery works. In accordance with the traditions, the Prosciutteria is a sincere testimony of local produce, of quality, flavors and needs of a modern customer, who often feels the need to combine quality to frugality. All in a picturesque setting, which expertly preserves traces of the work of hundreds of craftsmen who, over the centuries, have produced there thousands of knives.
PROSCIUTTERIA DOK DALL’AVA was founded in June 22nd, 1988, thanks to an idea by Carlo Dall’Ava, his son Natalino Dall’Ava, founder of the group, to make people understand that Ham is not only an appetizer but a round food. The goal was to combine a few simple dishes to DOK Dall’Ava Ham of equal quality. Then, here is the fresh pasta of durum wheat drawn through bronze, together with sauces created by Mrs. Paola Dall’Ava, Natalino’s wife and mother of Carlo, as well as inventor (with her husband) of the San Daniele ham of smoked salmon trout and of countless alternative types of ham processed with the most strange meat in the world, now reduced to more controllable species. The success was immediate, also because of the very high quality of the food served, the price was right and still today the value for money is one of the essential rules of the chain.
In the following years, Prosciutteria DOK Dall’Ava of San Daniele was joined by others, arriving to the 11 “sisters” of today. In all these years the offer has been optimized in such a way that it is replicable anywhere in the world.
Today, the loyal customers of DOK know that in Prosciutterie DOK Dall’Ava, they can safely satisfy their palates with dishes that respect fully the raw materials enhancing them without processings and adding nothing, and moreover, if you want, everything you eat can be purchased even for takeout.
