Located in a charming built–up area of the old town, Hostaria alla Tavernetta offers the homely atmosphere of local get–togethers. Here Roberto Romano and his wife, Giuliana Petris, with the collaboration in the kitchen of chef Antonio Mereu and aided by their son Matteo, run with enthusiasm and professionalism, honed by years of experience, this beautiful place.



The restaurant, in addition to the ground floor lounge that can host fifty people, offers two fine rooms upstairs, suitable for private dinners or business lunches, but the real surprise is the delightful terrace that can accommodate, for a magical evening in the shadow of the cathedral, up to twenty people.



In the lounge room, the light filtering through the windows rests on objects that evoke the atmosphere of a bygone age. The beautiful wooden bar with mirrored shelves, fireplaces, arches and columns are of the old tavern. All made ​​more comfortable by the wood floor, the wine bottles in every corner with apparent randomness, the very fresh flowers that give a further touch of class to the venue.



On cold winter evenings, however, guests find a place in front of the cozy fireplace, delighting their palate with typical dishes from Friuli, linked to seasonal products. Moreover, the wine cellar offers a wide selection of regional, national wines and some international pearls for more demanding tastes. The bubbles are not lacking, such as a good Franciacorta for the happy hour, but the list of champagne, by choice, is restricted only to requests.
