The story of “Beppino” fits well into the groove of a long tradition. In this way, just half a century ago, Giuseppe Novani transforms two rooms of an old farmhouse in a spartan “Tavern with serving of alcohol”. Outside, under the pergola, in summer, or around the fire, in winter. (...)



(...) more than thirty years ago Luciano Lazzerini built it with his own hands, as he was already a skilled bricklayer, before being its host. His son Daniele, attentive sommelier and lover of the “genius loci” and of its architecture, and his sister Simona, delicate participant in the family management, are the third generation that enters the history of this place, and have already had the task of renewing the spaces, to enrich them with a well provided and refined wine bar ... And Daniele has really been able to recreate the warmth of an old house of the Tuscan countryside. Where the signs of the rural memory of Valdicastello Carducci soberly blend with the classical Pietrasanta style (...)



The first guests tasted delicious snacks based on home–baked bread and local sausages, with the red wine of the Regnalla hills and of Mount Ripa.

The legendary Tordello of “Beppino” stems from these simple and friendly convivial rites. It is right from this national dish, regal in every festivity, that the real adventure begins at this restaurant. With skills, the hands of Nella Novani and Amelia Lazzerini – the first real creators of the kitchen – know how to pull the dough; instill in the mixtures unmistakable aromas and secrets. They do not care about anything else but to remain faithful to a healthy rural experience ...
