The restaurant is located in a palace built in the XIV century and once inhabited by noble families, such as the Pazzi, Frescobaldi, Guicciardini and Albizzi. Vasari called it ironically "of the ugly faces" for the statues in bas–relief on the facade depicting illustrious Florentine men. The restaurant serves typical Tuscan cuisine with an assortment of imaginative first courses and meat on the grill. It also offers a selection of wines, always updated, certainly living up to the best tasting.
