Founder of Enoproject.

Enoproject was conceived from the experience and passion of the most important Italian oenologist, Dr. Franco Bernabei, and stands out as one of the most cutting–edge wine laboratories for methodology, equipment and quality. Enoproject aims to provide assistance to the wineries not only strictly from the winegrowing and winemaking points of view, but also advice on marketing and on the development of the whole supply chain of the wine industry. The staff, true cornerstone of the company, consists of technical specialists that work in synergy with professionalism and passion, under the unque flag of love for the land and for the vine. Dr. Bernabei has won in time many awards for his hard work, such as the Wine Oscar in 2000 for Best Oenologist, the Rigoletto D’Argento Award in 2005, the Mi Wine Award and the Bacco D’Oro Award for Oenology in 2006, the Dino Casini Award in 2008, and with a skill worthy of King Midas, he has led to excellence many Italian grape varieties, following them from the study of plant systems to the management analysis.

The Enoproject method is summed up in the phrase «Before vine, then wine». A sentence that demonstrates the simplicity and completeness of a methodology that cares first about the environment, raw material and territory. There are currently around thirty companies that make reference to the Enoproject consulting firm, founded in 1993 together with his wife Daniela, which follows the administration and coordination of the office. There are ten people who currently work together to Enoproject, among whom there are his sons Marco, 30, who holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology and has a passion to reveal the most autochthonous Italian wines such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Grechetto di Todi and Verdello dell’Umbria, and Matteo, 25, who graduated in the same faculty of his brother and has already joined two professional registers, who follows the philosophy of his family keeping himself away from wines of a taste subdued to globalization and taking care of those with their own heritage, such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Sangiovese.
