Gentleman magazine has drawn up a ranking of the 100 best red wines in Italy for 2025, with Tuscany confirming its leading role with 43 labels, followed by Piedmont (23 references). The selection is based on scores assigned by five authoritative wine guides: Vini d'Italia (Gambero Rosso), I Vini di Veronelli , Guida Essenziale ai Vini d'Italia (Daniele Cernilli), Vitae (Associazione Italiana Sommelier) and Bibenda (Fondazione Italiana Sommelier).
South Tyrolean wines shine in international guides
