Turin, renewed the employment contract of agricultural and horticultural workers

This morning in Turin, at the headquarters of Confagricoltura, the employers 'organizations Confagricoltura, Coldiretti, Cia and the agricultural workers' unions Flai-Cgil, Fai-Cisl and Uila-Uil signed the renewal of the provincial contract for agricultural workers and horticulturalists which will be effective until as of December 31, 2023 .

"We have reached an important agreement - declares the director of Confagricoltura Torino Ercole Zuccaro - which affects about 1,200 agricultural enterprises in the provincial territory for a total of 600,000 days worked during the year , mainly by seasonal workers".

The agreement, which introduces qualifying elements as regards the management of contracts and the protection of workers, with particular attention to the phenomenon of migrants, provides for a salary adjustment of 1.7% that will be paid to workers in a single tranches starting next August.
