Since the beginning of the pandemic, after almost two years marked by the many difficulties that have also affected the world of wine, the first positive signs are now being seen, as also emerges from the data recently released at the end of the TuttoFood and Vinitaly Special Edition fairs (always hoping that the increase in the price of raw materials that is being witnessed in all sectors does not frustrate the imminent recovery).
To better face this new restart, Enoteca Regionale Emilia Romagna - which brings together over 200 companies from Rimini to Piacenza, from small hill companies to leading national and international wine cooperatives - will be able to count, as news of a few days ago, also on a important funding provided for by EU Regulation no. 1144/2014 relating to information and promotion actions for a period of 36 months , which will therefore cover from 2022 until the beginning of 2025. For Enoteca Regionale, the budget of eligible costs is € 2.3 million, with a recognition of 80% contribution of approximately € 1.8 million. The promotional actions for the wines of Emilia-Romagna in the next three years will have to be carried out for 41% in Italy, 39% in Germany and 20% in Sweden.
Enoteca Regionale participated in the call for multiple programs together with two Greek partners, Agronutritional Cooperation of Region of Central Macedonia and United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos, and was awarded the funding thanks to the "Sustainable Food and Wines of European Mediterranean Countries" project. , which obtained a very high evaluation resulting admitted with 90/100 and is one of the few, if not the only, involving the wine sector in Europe. The total approved project has a budget, for the three partners, of eligible costs of over € 4.1 million.
This important funding was communicated by the President of Enoteca Regionale, Giordano Zinzani, during the Shareholders' Meeting which was held at the end of October and which was also attended by the Regional Councilor for Agriculture Alessio Mammi , who confirmed the support for Enoteca ("it is the tool defined by regional law for the promotion of our wine ") and underlined, among the various positive elements, the ability to intercept external / extraordinary resources that individual companies would hardly be able to able to achieve.
" An assembly that also wanted to mark a moment of restart after the period of stoppage of some initiatives, especially for the cancellation of trade fairs and events in attendance during 2020 and 2021, with a renewed participation of the members and the will planning and promotional investments together with the consortia for the protection of wines with denomination of origin of our region, through the establishment of a permanent coordination table in which the directors of the consortia will participate ", underlined the President Zinzani .
As early as this November, some communication and promotion activities will begin (such as the presence of Emilia-Romagna wines in two masterclasses at the 54th AIS National Congress scheduled in Bologna from 19 to 21) and then resume in the first months of 2022 with the participation, together with its associates, in the most important international trade fairs, such as Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris (14-16 February), ProWein in Düsseldorf (27-29 March) and Vinitaly in Verona (10-13 April).
