MASI** Fresco di Masi Rosso is "Label of the Year 2023" at the Vinitaly Design International Packaging Competition

The jury of the 27th edition of the Vinitaly Design International Packaging Competition, the competition organized by Veronafiere-Vinitaly, awarded the "Label of the year 2023" to Fresco di Masi Rosso Verona IGT 2022, the line of organic wines by Masi produced "for subtraction", minimizing the intervention of man on nature.

For Masi it represents a prestigious mention which confirms the company's commitment to sustainability. Fresco di Masi will in fact be available in the newborn "Bottiglia Masi" , an innovative project developed in collaboration with the architect and designer Piero Lissoni and Verallia, a global point of reference in the design and supply of glass containers.

Below is a quote from Raffaele Boscaini, Marketing Director of Masi : " A few days before the start of Vinitaly, where we will be present to present our latest initiatives to international markets, we are proud to receive this important recognition from Veronafiere-Vinitaly. With Fresco, Masi offers the market a product that interprets the changed habits of contemporary and future consumers. A wine made by 'subtraction' thus avoiding all those steps and interventions that are not strictly necessary. Only natural yeasts, no aging, decanted and unfiltered Its label and packaging are decidedly consistent with this new message. An image with a strong identity for Masi revisited in a "pop" version that dresses a bottle - more sustainable, because it is light - of great impact thanks to its shapes and transparencies created by the international designer Piero Lissoni ".

The Fresco di Masi label and naming project was developed by the MA! design & partners in Milan. The new identity reinterprets the original design of the company's iconic wines, with a design with a strong personality, enhanced by the new bottle which increases the size impression.

" For Fresco di Masi we have created an unconventional image - says Monica Agliati, owner of the agency - with unprecedented chromatic choices, more inclusive and closer to the new generations. Updating the consolidated codes of such a historic and recognized brand without distorting them, it was a big challenge ."
