Tarquinia celebrates the twentieth anniversary of DiVino Etrusco: seven evenings of wine, culture, and history of ancient Etruria.

This milestone celebrates two decades of promoting wine culture and Etruscan heritage, for an event that has become one of the key summer events in Tuscia, combining local culture, culture, and wine-related tourism.

For seven evenings, the historic center will host a wine tour of the territories of the ancient Etruscan Dodecapolis. Participating wineries will offer a selection of labels representing the various territorial identities, while sommeliers from Fisar Tuscia Viterbese will guide the public through the grape varieties, traditions, and histories of wine. Alongside the tasting stalls, the festival will enliven the heart of the city with concerts, live performances, exhibitions, art installations, cultural events, tours, and guided tastings.

This year, Palazzo Vitelleschi, home of the National Archaeological Museum, will once again be one of the festival's iconic venues, with evening openings and a keynote address by director Vincenzo Bellelli. Among the new features of the 2026 edition, DiVino Etrusco expands its Mediterranean horizons with the participation of wineries from Sicily, Sardinia, and Calabria, sparking a dialogue between territories united by history, the sea, and a millennia-old winemaking tradition.

The event is promoted and organized by the Municipality of Tarquinia, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Tarquinia and food and wine expert Carlo Zucchetti, with the support of the Lazio Region and the patronage of the Province of Viterbo, the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture – Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia.
