Recioto Gambellara a sweet wine made with Garganega grapes to dry. Fresh grapes are hung vertically on large mobile screens and exposed to drying winds until the month of February. Following the grapes are fermented in part on the skins while a small amount of the wort is carried in a warmer place with the aim of activating the yeast for about 15 days. Soon after everything is added to the great mass of the must. The wine goes into barrels of 15 hl for about 8-9 months where the fermentation continues. Three years after the vintage, the wine is bottled. The organoleptic characteristics amber colour with dark shades The nose feels more dried fruit, especially raisins and dates, caramel, nuts and dried tangerine bucciadi. In the mouth return dates and passes luva has a full-bodied, warm and very intense. This excellent Recioto perfect in combination with the strudel, maybe a little sweeter than usual, with lots of cinnamon and a little honey.
