Despite the rugged mountainous territory of Calabria, that does not allow a thriving cultivation of vineyards, white wine varieties and peculiarities do not lack. The undisputed king of this category is Cir Bianco, to which the DOC is recognized. Other interesting white wines are Greco Bianco, Melissa, Sant'Anna, Verbicaro, Scavigna.
