Groppello is an old vine variety present already in 1250 that found his "vocation" on Lake Garda in Valtenesi where there are barely 47 Ha. The name derives from the shape of the bunch "tight and tapered." Driven by the conviction and the desire not to "settle" this heritage, Costaripa winery, first took up the challenge of its "rebirth" and since 1990 has decided to consider all aspects of the Groppello just as a great vine variety.
