Organoleptic characteristics
The wine has a deep ruby red color with violet hues. At the nose it expresses the varietal fruity notes of very ripe cherry and small fruits, rich in spices, light notes of vanilla and toasted almonds, all combined in a beautiful bouquet, very persistent and appealing. On the palate it is elegant, soft and full–bodied, with present and balanced tannins. Great fresh and fruity feeling and dry and intense aftertaste increase its importance. In this, Masetto Due, the grape of origin is the protagonist, a powerful matrix, extreme selection, with no influence of barriques and care in the art of winemaking.
