The villa of the Counts Zucco di Cuccanea, the current seat of the company, is an example of a fortified settlement of the sixteenth century. The tower that overlooks the city walls to the west was built for defense purposes, and later became a point of sight and control of the surrounding countryside: the landscape that stretches from the hills of Rosazzo and those of Ruttars and Cormons is wonderful.

Leaving the villa and walking through an old vineyard of Ribolla Gialla, you arrive at the nearby winery of production, where the thousand–year old farming tradition is combined with modern winemaking.

The gradual and steady qualitative growth of the company has been achieved through the interplay of various factors, such as the care of the vineyards, the harvest by hand (even in the plateau) and the important technological innovations adopted. The best grapes are brought into a fruttaia (fruit chamber), an environment where low temperature and ventilation favor the development of an extraordinary polyphony of scents, giving the wines flavor, combined with a remarkable structure and elegance of taste. These processes have resulted in white wines such as the Collio Bianco Broy, award–winning. The other strand of innovation regards sparkling wines and in particular the development of what is now called the "Collavini Method": 42 months, from the harvest to the flute, for a sparkling wine considered a true excellence in Friuli: Ribolla Gialla Brut.
