Piero Mancini, despite his profession as a successful dentist, has not abbandoned his passion, handed down by his family, for the cultivation of vines and wine–making.

He began in the 60s by planting the first vines and honing his experience at the helm of some important Cellars.

With passion, he continued to increase his plants, selected especially taking care of the whole Climate–Land–Vineyard, conscious of its importance in the possibility to obtain grapes of the highest quality, that offered their best characteristics and the uniqueness of their area of ​​origin.

The commitment continued until the end of the 70s, when the vineyards of Piero Mancini covered 70 hectares in one of the most suitable areas of Sardinia: Gallura.

In 1989 he crowned his dream and opened his Cantina delle Vigne, just in front of the Gulf of Olbia.

The production of the grapes was then joined to winemaking and wine bottling.

It was an instant success. His entrepreneurial spirit and his culture addressed the production of wines of great quality that gained the deserved success and positioned themselves in the leading positions on the market of the island.

Today the winery is entrusted to his wife Marisa and their children Laura, Antonio and Alessandro, each with his/her own task:

Alessandro deals with the agronomic and commercial duties, Antonio with the technical and administrative ones, Marisa and Laura with communication and PR.

With the same passion of their father, the children put their commitment to grow the winery and its wines not only in quantity but also in quality.
