Since 1824 the Duke of Salaparuta followed the design of its founder, Prince Giuseppe Alliata that, first, began to vinify in an innovative way the grapes coming from his estates in Sicily. A winemaking design which continues unchanged today: to produce a wine with grapes strictly Sicilian of international standing. Fine wines, innovative, result of the selection of the best Sicilian grapes from restricted, well–defined areas, where each specific grape variety finds the ideal conditions of cultivation.
