Loreggia is situated on the road that from Padua leads to Castelfranco Veneto. From Padua East it is about ten kilometers far, you arrive there in a few minutes. Locanda Aurilia is a village inn, family–run, with a story behind. Therefore, it is restaurant, hotel, bar, but also, thanks to the passion of Ferdinando, the most beautiful winery in the area. No doubt. Mine is not an invitation, but something like an order: go there! and once you do it, say my name (it is cool to say it) and ask to the little man with mustache (Ferdinando) to take you down to the wine cellar to look at the well stored wines for type of food. You will then see wines for soups, for red meats, for venison, for cheese. If you still have doubts, ask for the impressive wine list, presented with maps, and be happy about the mark–ups and especially about the variety and quality you will find. Take the wine that you like, sit at the table in the bar to share with Ms. Antonietta, mother of Ferdinando, and ask for some pieces of sublime cheese, taken from the cart of the restaurant.
