The days get shorter, the climate becomes more sparkling and that unmistakable scent of chestnuts is released into the air. It is autumn, with its explosion of colors that, illuminated by the sun's rays, give a truly magical touch to woods and valleys. And it is October, in particular, the month in which this show is repeated, never equal to itself. This is why for 16 years the Trentino Wine and Flavors Route has chosen it to organize a series of initiatives dedicated to this season every weekend, thanks to the involvement of over seventy members.

Once the harvests have been archived and the harvests completed, the producers therefore open the doors of their farms to host the most curious food & wine lovers to discover all the secrets of the best local excellences. But not only: scheduled visits to the cellar and vineyard, taste experiences, walks and ebike tours to admire the infinite variations of the foliage, aperitifs, food and wine workshops, themed dinners and dedicated holiday proposals, in addition to the inevitable parties that celebrate the products most characteristic of the period. Appointments also designed for small groups of people, real taste experiences to "enjoy" with the family, as a couple or with friends, to experience the atmosphere of autumn in Trentino and savor its unmistakable flavors.

Several initiatives are repeated every weekend, such as Enotour d'Autunno at Borgo dei Posseri in Ala , scheduled every Friday and Saturday of the month - in which guests will be given a map that will lead to a series of islands positioned next to the vineyards, where you can taste a glass of company wine born from that particular vineyard combined with specialties from the Social Dairy of Sabbionara and Salumeria Belli - or Strolling in the vineyard , every Friday at the Cantina d'Isera , with a walk in the countryside of Isera and final tasting of the farm products, accompanied by the Biodebiasi specialties, the Sabbionara Dairy and the Modern Bakery, but also Doc & Dop , every Saturday at 4.30 pm , at the Mezzacorona-Rotari Cellars in San Michele all'Adige , where the guided tour will end in evocative Sala del Re, with guided tasting of the entire AlpeRegis Millesimati line combined with elegant finger food from Ristorante Da Pino, pen sati to enhance the various maturations and textures of Trentingrana, and the products of Panificio Sosi.

1st weekend

Furthermore, on Friday 1 October , at 6.00 pm , at the Cenci Trentino winery in Castelnuovo, there is Calici at sunset , with the company's wines paired with the specialties of Crucolo and Carni e Salumi Meggio. The first weekend of the month then continues with the Latte in festa event in Lavarone , organized by Apt Alpe Cimbra and scheduled for Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October , which includes a series of workshops and initiatives to discover this excellence, including the walk with visit to the farm and picnic on the lawn of the Aperitif of Malghesi on Saturday afternoon, 3.30 pm , where, in addition to the cheese from Caseificio degli Altipiani and Vezzena and a gourmet proposal from Malga Millegrobbe, you can taste the apples La Trentina in combination to Acqua Levico and Teroldego Rotaliano from Azienda Agricola Zanini Luigi. Only on Sunday, however, the appointment is also not far away, in Luserna , for Zimbartörggelen Herbst , a suggestive food and wine walk among the autumn colors of Alpe Cimbra, with products from Malga Millegrobbe, Cantina Madonna delle Vittorie, Dairy degli Altipiani and Vezzena and Marzadro Distillery. Finally, two days of the Storo Polenta Festival , organized by the Pro Loco di Storo in collaboration with Apt Madonna di Campiglio, are dedicated to this traditional specialty, offered in many variations. Also present are the products of Azienda Agricola Troticoltura Armanini and the wines of Azienda Agricola Grigoletti and Cantina Toblino.

2nd weekend

Saturday 9 October, at 2.30 pm , we move to Vallelaghi for Autumn and Nosiola , a walk dedicated to this native vine, with a final visit to the Casa Caveau Vino Santo and to the Giovanni Poli S. Massenza farm (in replication on 23 October with a visit from Maxentia), combined with products from Panificio Pasticceria Tecchiolli, and Lavis for From the garden to the cellar , at 5.00 pm , at the Giardino dei Ciucìoi , with a guided tour of the architectural work together with the Ecomuseum of Argentario and Albatros, walk in the historic center of Lavis and final tasting at Cantine Monfort (rerun on October 15, with a finale at Cantina La Vis, and on October 23, with a finale again at Cantine Monfort). On Sunday, however, you can spend at the Museum of Uses and Costumes of the Trentino People of San Michele all'Adige with Autumn at 10/10 at the museum : from 14.30 to 18.00 , creative workshops with an autumn theme, a treasure hunt at the discovery of particularities of the exhibits and a tasty final snack, with the products of Gelateria Serafini and La Corte dei Ciliegi.

3rd weekend

On Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October Reboro is back. Territory & passion , two days to discover this wine scheduled between Arco and Vallelaghi . In addition to visits to some wineries in the area, such as the Gino Pedrotti Farm, the Giovanni Poli S. Massenza Farm, the Francesco Poli and Maxentia Farm, you can participate in a conference, a dedicated tasting and a themed dinner. On the evening of Saturday 16 October , from 4.00 pm , Caneve en festa is also back in attendance, the itinerant dinner with local products among the wraps of Cembra combined with wines and grappas from the Cembra Valley and accompanied by various kinds of music that will see , among others, the involvement of Cembrani DOC, Azienda Agricola Bio Giove Officinali, Cembra winery in the mountains, Maso Franch and Zanotelli Società Agricola. The evening appointment will be followed, Sunday 17 October , at 11.00 , by Wine Trekking Gourmet , a 5 km walk through the vineyards of the Cembra Valley interspersed with tasty breaks organized by local restaurants. On Saturday 16 October , in Riva del Garda , on the other hand, the Agririva Bike Tour is scheduled: starting from 2.00 pm we will cycle the path that connects Lake Garda to Valle dei Laghi and back, with some tasteful stages, during which to discover the products of some members of the Trentino Wine and Flavors Route, such as Armanini Trout Farm, Gino Pedrotti Farm, Bertoldi Butcher, Fontanèl Farm, Tecchiolli Bakery and, of course, Agraria Riva del Garda.

4th weekend

From Friday 22 to Sunday 24 October the appointment is with La Dispensa dell'Alpe in Folgaria , a three-day event organized by the Apt Alpe Cimbra, dedicated to the agri-food production of Trentino through conferences, but also experiential workshops, , guided tours, open farms, trekking and biking of taste, masterclasses and educational initiatives for children. Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October also takes place the Chestnut Festival on the Vigolana Plateau , with many activities scheduled from 10.00 to 19.00 , by the local Apt and with the presence of various local producers including the Castanicoltori Cooperative Trentino Alto Adige.

5th weekend

The last weekend, as per tradition, the absolute protagonist is instead the typical "poor" salami of San Lorenzo Dorsino which rightly goes on stage for the Ciuìga Festival , now in its twentieth edition: from 30 October to 1 November the Pro Loco San Lorenzo in Banale, in collaboration with the Municipality of San Lorenzo Dorsino and Apt Dolomiti Paganella, will therefore give space to taste, culture and tradition in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, with tastings, markets, musical and theatrical reviews, with the involvement, between the others by Cantina Endrizzi and Panificio Zambanini.

DiVin Ottobre is part of the provincial wine events calendar called #trentinowinefest and is organized in collaboration with Bontadi Caffè, and with the support of the Trentino - Alto Adige Region, BIM dell'Adige and the Community of the Cembra Valley.
