A special occasion to seal a partnership born last year at Vinitaly, which experienced a first meeting in recent days on the island, in the shadow of Etna.
If in Sicily the group of 25 representatives of the Trentino Association had the opportunity to get to know the Etna wine-growing reality up close, through visits and tastings, immersing themselves at the same time in the food and wine, naturalistic and tourist traditions of the area, also for Sicilians visiting Trentino a busy program is expected.
Over the course of four days , in fact, they will have the opportunity to explore a large part of the area under the responsibility of the Trentino organization : a "grand tour" that will feature the testimonial wines of the area - Marzemino, Müller Thurgau, Teroldego Rotaliano, Nosiola, Vino Santo and Trento Doc – but also grappa from Trentino and numerous agro-food specialities , for a total of around thirty members involved in producers, the hospitality and catering world.
“ We can't wait to reciprocate the wonderful experience we had in Sicily. In fact, we are convinced that the importance of this type of collaboration lies precisely in the value of cultural and professional exchange and in the stimuli that can derive from it to constantly improve our business and our initiatives ”, underlines Sergio Valentini, President of the Strada del Vino and of the flavors of Trentino . “ On the other hand, our Road is not new to these partnerships and we hope to replicate soon also with other realities in the Italian territory. With our Etna colleagues there was an excellent feeling right away and we are happy that the organizers of important wine events in Trentino, such as Vinifera and Incontri Rotaliani this year have chosen to focus on the productions of this wonderful Sicilian area for significant moments of comparison and sharing ”.
