The best national and international bartenders guests under the Mole, and beyond. From 15 to 25 September, ten days of tastings and fun open to the public of sector enthusiasts and others, will feature the best venues and cocktail bars in Turin and - for the first time - also in Piedmont .
Challenges between bartenders , masterclasses , tastings of innovative cocktails , spirits nights and events in over 40 cocktail bars in the city together with the internationally renowned bartenders arriving. In its sixth edition, Torino Cocktail Week involves over 30 spirits brands and for the first time it also extends to Piedmont, with the participation of 10 selected cocktail bars , including Radici di Asti, Green Beach, Officine Pulp and many others.
After the great success of the fifth edition, during which a total of 19 thousand cocktails were served with the presence of over 25 thousand participants, Torino Cocktail Week also becomes Piedmont Cocktail Week, ready to inebriate the public of the entire region and aiming to enter the schedule of national events dedicated to the world of good, quality drinking.
A rich calendar of events, tastings, masterclasses and exclusive nights , in addition to the creation of new dedicated cocktails created for the occasion . From Quadrilatero to Vanchiglia, up to Sansalvario, each venue will offer its very personal and distinct signature cocktail , transforming itself for a week into a guest bartending location, with masterclasses and tastings of products promoted by the brands participating in the event, with a real competition where The best cocktail in Turin will be awarded, among the over 40 venues in the city involved.
A unique opportunity to discover the latest trends in the sector with moments dedicated to the discovery of the new frontiers of taste , between Spirits&Beverage and Liqueur, as well as sustainability and the search for increasingly international and innovative ideas. The only rule is to be surprised by the taste of the most iconic and unusual cocktails such as those proposed by some of the best names arriving in Turin, such as Federico Mastellari, Andrea Dracos, Giuseppe Mancini, Livio Buscaglia , among the main trainers on the subject of bartending and of professions linked to the bar industry.
Not just spirits. Also new this year compared to past editions is the food pairing with the main restaurants in Turin: a spirit paired with a dish in the many restaurants in the city such as Osteria Rabezzana, San Giors and Cubique. In fact, Torino Cocktail Week changes and renews itself, year after year, presenting a continuously evolving format to meet the needs of brands and the public.
An itinerary that therefore involves the entire city, also through a contest. The 'mixology' route winds through the best cocktail bars in the city with the 'Cocktail Grand Tour' , the widespread contest created by the Turin Cocktail Week. Throughout the week the public will be able to vote - through a QR Code - for the original creations of the participating venues and elect the winner of the mixing competition. During the One Night specials, a selected drinklist of brands corresponding to the spirits protagonist of the evening will also be offered. Discover high quality products, and have fun with the entertainment offered in synergy with the main clubs and cocktail bars in the city.
Among the names of the jury , a technical committee composed this year of Andrea Dracos from Turin, who won the title of Campari Barman of The Year with his Torino - Milano Via Novara cocktail , and Branka Vukasinovic barlady with international experience and owner of Civico 1 of Turin, together with the Director of the Turin Cocktail Week and commercial manager of the Salone del Vino Emanuele Romagnoli.
Many are the eagerly awaited events of this sixth edition, starting from the Grand Opening at Eataly on Friday 15 September , with cocktails and tapas at sunset to say goodbye to the summer: a big party on the terrace to say goodbye to the beautiful season, remembering the cocktails on the beach with the fresh cocktail proposals and tapas created by Executive Chef Patrik Lisa. Also not to be missed is the Vanchiglietta Mixology Night event on Saturday 16th , the evening in which three Lumeria venues, Il Monomono and Ca' Maìs , come together to create a unique entertainment experience. Mixology, DJ sets and many other surprises will involve and liven up Vanchiglietta all night long.
We continue on Sunday 17th with Spritz Sunday at Imbarco Perosino . Freshly reopened, Al Pero - Imbarco sul Po awaits the public for a late summer Sunday on the banks of the Po with Select Spritz, live bands, DJ sets and many other surprises. Discomoderni's musical selection on the turntables to enjoy the sunset over the river with beautiful music, good vibes and fresh drinks.
One of the main days of the Cocktail Week is scheduled for Monday 18th from Porto Urbano : with Cocktail Academy Day , a day dedicated to operators in the sector and the protagonists of mixology, including international bartenders, masterclasses and competitions, to reveal all the secrets of mixology told directly by the international protagonists. This will also be followed by a tour of the cocktail bars and a networking evening for the bar industry. Among the guests: Federico Mastellari and his Drink Factory, Beppe Mancini, Flavio Esposito, Andrea Dracos and many others.
On Tuesday 19th, in the Combo courtyard there will also be the exclusive Cocktail Olympic Game , a cocktail challenge from the best bartenders in the city , to see them at work in the drink mixing phase. The cocktail bars will also offer a creation specifically designed for the evening, and will present it in an authentic marathon .
Sake is also at the center of the Turin Cocktail Week program, with the evening of Thursday 21st in a Sake Night at Azotea which kicks off a special evening in the company of Sake Company together with Andrea Dracos.
Grand finale , to close and celebrate together this sixth edition full of guests, the End of Summer Stock Party on Thursday 21st curated by Pazza Idea at Perosino , to follow the next day, Friday 22nd , with the extraordinary opening of the Castello di Moncalieri curated by Ozio Intelligente together with Cocchi products, and the grand closing of Una Notte a Casa Martini organized by Club Silencio on Saturday 23 September .
