The panorama of Spirits is enriched with the new line of liqueurs signed CASONI, born from the collaboration with Marian Beke, a well-known London bartender who has already distinguished himself for the creation of world-famous liqueurs and distillates.

The Gibson Edition was previewed yesterday – February 6 – at the Moebius, a spectacular venue in Milan.

In addition to the participation of Marian Beke who personally contributed to the composition of the innovative line, the event also saw the participation of Compagnia dei Caribbean, promoter of the event and exclusive distributor for the national territory.

CASONI has always been committed to the research and development of novelties, exploring new flavors and combinations. The Gibson Edition reflects the tastes of today's public, in the growing search for quality products, ideal for the preparation of complex cocktails from a sensorial point of view, with new and eccentric flavours.

The Gibson Edition is the innovative trilogy of liqueurs that celebrates its origins and roots, making use of internationally known products, such as Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP.

"We wanted to dedicate to our incredible territory liqueurs with intense scents characterized by balsamic, fruity and botanical notes. The WILD BERRIES and FIGS AND CHERRIES references combine the flavors of the Emilian tradition with singular ingredients, such as wild berries and figs. The AMAROTTO , on the other hand, stands out for its delicate smoky note and for the perfect union between the taste of amaro and that of amaretto", explained Manuel Greco , the Trade Marketing Manager of CASONI.

The Gibson Edition includes:

  • WILD BERRIES with BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA IGP:

a successful balance between the acidity of the balsamic vinegar and the soft and harmonious fruity notes of strawberry, blueberry and raspberry. The result is a pleasant liqueur, ideal for a twist on a Bramble.

  • AMAROTTO: the perfect partnership between amaretto and amaro, with a pleasant smoky note capable of giving originality and character. Excellent in any sour or bitter cocktail.
  • FIGS AND CHERRIES WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA IGP: combines two excellences of Emilia Romagna, the cherry and the balsamic vinegar of Modena IGP which go well with the softness of the fig. It lends itself to any fruit-based cocktail or for a Blood and Sand twist.

On the occasion of the presentation, Marian Beke demonstrated the versatility of the line, proposing original cocktails combined with a dedicated food menu. An opportunity to stimulate the curiosity of journalists and to answer their questions about it. After the tasting, the internationally renowned bartender delighted the Moebius customers by presenting an innovative drinklist created with The Gibson Edition's trilogy of liqueurs.

The cocktails created promote versatility in mixology and make the most of the three products presented:

MODENA SOUR

  • 40ml Vodka Koskenkorva Original Organic
  • 15ml Wild & Berries liqueur -The Gibson Edition
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 protein cocoa barspoon
  • lemon oil mousse

Garnish: breadsticks covered in chocolate

DOPe MARTINI

  • 60ml Gin Citadelle Original
  • 10 ml Vermouth Carlo Alberto Riserva extra dry superior
  • Amarotto liqueur - The Gibson Edition to taste
  • addition of white truffle drops and aged balsamic vinegar

Garnish: marinated yellow melon balls and mini mozzarella

CLAYTONI

  • 30ml Gin Mare
  • 20ml Bitter Rouge
  • 25 ml Tomaso Agnini Walnut Husk Vermouth
  • 10ml Figs and Cherries liqueur - The Gibson Edition
  • 3 drops of orange blossom water

Garnish: black truffle flakes accompanied by aged Parmesan
