Grappa Aged Elisi is a warm, soft and enveloping grappa, distilled mainly from Barbera pomace and aged in barrels of different woods. The assembly of the different vintages and the different vines give the elegance, the complexity of aromas and the emotions that only the great spirits of the world can convey.
Grappa Unica is a young distillate, dry on the palate and elegant on the nose, obtained from the distillation with the traditional method of selected vines, followed by aging in stainless steel barrels for 3-6 months.
This ambitious project is not the first for Distillerie Berta which, with "Elisi per il Sociale" in previous years has dedicated part of the revenues from the sale of the homonymous grappa to the collection of economic resources to support the cooperative Fraternity and Friendship , a committed Milanese company in supporting families of people with mental disabilities. The young people who were guests of the community drew splendid paintings which then “dressed” the Elisi grappa, thanks to a special label, and created the sculptures installed in the distillery's park.
