The Marche Region has promoted "The best Wine List in the restaurants of the Marche", to enhance the restoration and the regional "wine lists" combined with the typical dishes of the regional food culture of the Marche.   


Experts of wine and cuisine, lovers and visitors can vote for the best wine lists made by restaurants, taverns, pubs and venues in the Marche region on the website www.lemarchedabere.it. The announcement to participate in the initiative expires on 31st January 2015. The reports must be sent by fax or by e–mail referring to the website.

The Region and the Regional Council of the Marche launched a competition to promote the pairing to dishes of the Marche food culture with regional wines, thus promoting the growing in quality of the wine products of our region.

«A winemaking company is strong – the food and wine expert Giuseppe Cristini said – if it is present in the place where it lives and produces. Before dealing with internationalization we should lovingly pour down with the Marche wines our restaurants and inns». «The jury of the competition – Cristini said – will be composed of experts in the wine and food industry and in matching techniques». The prize will be awarded considering originality, offer of wines by the glass, creativity and professionalism, consistency and balance between the wine list and the kitchen.

The awards ceremony will take place before in the Marche region and then at the next Vinitaly edition. (Civil Code)
