The famous Philosopher's Stone was none other than the result of an alchemical work. A work that had the sole purpose of obtaining the Stone, that Stone that would transform base metals into gold and be, at the same time, a perfect medicine against any disease. We do not do alchemy and we do not transform metals but we have learned, with great passion, to transform the good milk of our goats into the excellent Robiola di Roccaverano DOP.

'last tasting, to which took part in a good number of fans in accordance with the COVID regulations, has also seen in scene the photographic exhibition signed by the photographer Manuel Cazzola who immortalized in his artistic shots the faces and robin products "Rob-In ". The initiative was therefore embraced with satisfaction by all those who took part in it: producers and the public.

The Consortium for the Protection of Robiola di Roccaverano PDO hopes to be able to continue on this path to give more and more importance to the production chains of the artisan specialties of the production area of the typical goat cheese.

In addition to the guided tastings of the robin, Robiola was present at the 20th International Food Exhibition: the CIBUS in Parma held from 31 August to 3 September. The Parma event met with a success that went beyond expectations with 2,000 companies present and 40,000 visitors of which 2,000 from abroad. Roccaverano , accompanied by Castelmagno and Murazzano cheeses, was represented by ONAF thanks to a decidedly constructive collaboration.

Always with two other cheeses, Ossolano and Murazzano, ONAF and Terre Alte DOP there was the joint presentation during the days of CHEESE 2021 in the city of Bra. The 13th edition of the famous international event dedicated to dairy products staged from 17 to 20 September was once again a great success.

We certainly cannot fail to mention another prestigious event: the DOUJA D'OR in Asti. For this event we thank the collaboration with ONAF delegation of Asti and Piedmont Land of Perfection which recently became Piedmont Land of Wine ; or the Consortium aimed at enhancing the winemaking excellence that hosted us in its exhibition spaces. We were then present at other events both in our region and out of town such as the very recent French one in Beausoleil at the Marché des Couleurs et Saveurs d'Italie .

We therefore leave a sunny past that has proved very interesting for the promotion of Robiola di Roccaverano PDO and we are already looking to the future. The next appointment for us and for our admirers will be in the city of Acqui Terme as early as October 7, 2021: for this event, thanks go to the Municipality of Acqui and the Associazione Comuni del Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG . During the event there will be three stations with three paired wine producers located in corso Italia and corso Viganò where you can taste the Robiola and everything will be immersed in an exquisite festive atmosphere .

Then many other moments that we will report to you regularly; such as the Mombercelli Truffle Fair on October 17, Gusta Cherasco live on October 23 and 24 in the heart of the historic city and the Canelli Truffle Fair on November 21.

To conclude, with great pleasure , we would like to point out that on 29 September a television crew of the famous “ Geo ” program broadcast on Rai Tre shot the video material for a report on our cheese. The images were taken in the town of Roccaverano , at the Roccaverano School , on the pastures and inside one of the consortium dairies in order to be able to present the entire production chain to the public. As soon as we are notified of the broadcast date of the service, it will be our responsibility to let you know.
