Everything is ready for the third weekend of Gemme di gusto , a calendar of initiatives, aperitifs, tastings, trekking in the nature that the members of the Trentino Wine and Flavors Route organize on weekends throughout the month of May to welcome the beautiful season (at www.tastetrentino.it/gemmedigusto the detailed weekend after weekend program).
The third weekend of Gemme di Gusto starts on Friday 21 May at 9.30 with Taste & Walk through history, fountains and flavors , a day dedicated to food & wine lovers who are passionate about history and architecture. It is in fact a circular route of about 6 km in the heart of Trento , starting from Via Belenzani, interspersed with an aperitif at Bar Pasi, a lunch at Il Libertino - Osteria Tipica Trentina a panoramic walk on the Doss Trento to admire the city from above and a delicious snack at the Sosi Bakery in the city center. Participants will be provided with the path to live the experience in total autonomy. The participation fee is 48 euros per person. On the same day , at Mas dei Chini in Martignano di Trento , Inkino Trekking is instead scheduled: a day in the countryside, starting at 10.00 , where you can discover the vineyard hills guided by a guide who will illustrate the secrets of the company's wines, followed by a lunch. on the farm with, among other things, a selection of milk products from Trento, Agraria Riva del Garda, Caseificio degli Altipiani and Vezzena and Trota Oro paired with wines from the cellar. Everything will end with a relaxing afternoon among the rows. The participation fee is 60 euros per person; 30 euros for children and teenagers up to 14 years. And again, again on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May , the snack of the heart is scheduled, starting at 3.00 pm at the Le Albere district of Trento: after having picked up a delicious snack at Dolcemente Marzari, guests can move to the adjacent park and taste the sweets of Pasticceria Marzari, made with the products of Ca 'dei Baghi and Birrificio degli Arimanni, combined with curious games. At 6.00 pm , however, the appointment is in the Cembra Valley , with Waiting for the review , a musical aperitif organized by the Valle di Cembra Exhibition Committee at the Maso Franch restaurant in Giovo where it will be possible to taste a selection of local Müller Thurgau paired with finger food made with local gastronomic excellences, and know the details of the next edition of the "Müller Thurgau: Mountain Wine" event. Among the wines for tasting, those of Azienda Agricola Pojer and Sandri, Cantina La Vis, Cembra mountain winery, Villa Corniole and Zanotelli. Saturday 22 May we travel with Taste & Train along the via del Teroldego , a day to discover the prince of Trentino wines and the Piana Rotaliana , which can be reached by the Trento-Malè railway (starting from Trento at 9.30; from Cles at 8.45 or from the stations intermediate). During the day you can get to know a Mezzocorona winery between the Marco Donati farm, the Andrea Martinelli or Dorigati farm, walk along via del Teroldego (or take the train), reaching Grumo di San Michele a / A where to have lunch at the Da Pino Restaurant and then discover the grappas of Azienda Agricola Zeni Roberto at the distillery. A 6.5 km ring route at the end of which you can return or make a further stop at the Museum of Uses and Customs of the Trentino People of San Michele all'Adige. The participation fee is 49 euros per person, excluding the return ticket for the Trento Malè Railway and possible entrance to the museum. On the same day, starting from 9.00 , in Isera , Pietre is also scheduled, an initiative of the Municipality of Isera and the APT Rovereto and Vallagarina: after the visit to the Church of Patone and its treasures, a meeting place, we will move guided by a guide towards Castel Corno, where a tasting organized by the producers of Isera will be offered, including Cantina d'Isera, Biodebiasi and Panificio Moderno in combination with a live musical moment. The total distance is about 4 km. The participation fee is 20 euros including a guided tour of the church, entrance to the castle, concert and tasting. Finally, there is an appointment for lovers of two wheels, this time in the Valle dei Laghi for Nosiola by e-bike : the departure is scheduled at 9.00 from Sarche di Madruzzo for a 26 km guided tour along the ethnographic route " the Nosiola path, where wine becomes a saint ”. In the itinerary there will be 6 stops at wineries producing Trentino Santo Wine, including the Gino Pedrotti Farm, the Giovanni Poli Santa Massenza Farm, the Francesco Poli Farm, Maxentia and Cantina Toblino. The appointment will also be an opportunity to visit the Casa Caveau del Vino Santo. The participation fee is 20 euros, excluding e-bike rental, but including a food and wine tour with 6 glasses of wine and 6 paired gastronomic proposals, local guide and entrance to Casa Caveau del Vino Santo. At 10.30 am, at Madonna delle Vittorie in Arco , Spirit of spring returns again this weekend, guided tour of the cellar to discover Chardonnay with final lunch, where the Trota Oro products will meet the various expressions of this vine, both in the still and Trentodoc version, and conclusion with a Marzadro Distillery grappa. Both Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May , at Mas dei Chini in Martignano di Trento, from 10.00 , Pic-nic live the vineyard takes place: guests will be given a delicious and rich picnic basket with delicacies based on products: Latte Trento, Trota Oro, Agraria Riva del Garda, Caseificio degli Altipiani and Vezzena, a colorful plaid, and a bottle of wine for every two people to collect at the Maso, and then leave for the vineyard to find the right corner for a perfect relaxing break from which to enjoy a breathtaking view. The participation fee is 35 euros per person; 20 for children up to 12 years.
