The award reserved for young talents was presented on Sunday 28 September.

Believing in the future means supporting new generations. With this spirit, in 2018 the Cecchetto Giorgio Agricultural Company established the Cecchetto Award together with the Treviso Comic Book Festival , an award which annually recognizes an emerging comics talent. The 2025 edition crowned Eva Daffara and Anna Dietzel as breakthrough artists during the Boscarato Prize ceremony, one of the most prestigious events in the Italian comics scene, held on Sunday, September 28th at the Benetton Studies and Research Foundation , in the historic center of Treviso.

Furthermore, since 2016, the synergy between the Vazzola (Treviso) company and the event has given life to the personalisation of two bottles of Raboso del Piave , which this year bears the graphic interpretation of the artist Eleonora Caprara .

"Our collaboration with the Treviso Comic Book Festival began in 2011," says Sara Cecchetto , the company's Sustainability Manager, "and has consolidated and expanded over the years, culminating in the creation of the Cecchetto Prize. This project aims to offer emerging young talents an opportunity to showcase their artistic skills. For us, supporting new generations means investing in the future, promoting culture, innovation, and beauty."

Eva Daffara , a Friulian cartoonist and illustrator with a degree in Comics Languages from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, presented her graphic novel "Lindy Hop dall'Aldilà" in Treviso, published by Eris Edizioni. Anna Dietzel , on the other hand, lives and works as an illustrator. She holds a degree in Illustration for Publishing from Bologna and currently collaborates with authoritative magazines such as Internazionale and Domani . She won the Cecchetto Prize for her books " Qui io non conto " (Becco Giallo) and "Necrofora " (Cfapaz).

Eleonora Caprara , an illustrator and storyboard artist with a lifelong passion for character design, has created two characters for the 2025 Treviso Comic Book Festival that brighten Cecchetto's Raboso del Piave. The egret and the fox painted on the bottles represent two true Trevisans, one more riverside and the other more worldly, who, in vino veritas , reveal their wild nature.

Numerous authors, both male and female, have been nominated for the 2025 Cecchetto Award, distinguishing themselves for the quality and originality of their work. Among them are Karen Darboe with Bloodline: Blade's Daughter (Marvel Panini), Cleo Bissong, author of Are We Still Here to Talk About It? (Coconino Press), and Marco Checchin with These Walls (Edizioni BD). Also competing for the award are Pastaacolazione with Holy Marrow (Hollow Press), and Fiamma with Nodi (Bao Publishing). No less notable are the submissions of Claudia Petrazzi, who submitted Atomi (Bao Publishing), and Laverve, who submitted La regina dei granchi (Canicola) and L'estate fantasma (Sole24ore Cultura). Also in the running are Criminaliza with Md4 – Un'ultima cosa (Diabolo), Lidia Bolognini with Awarè (Star Comics), and Michelle Reviglio with Goldie (Tentacle Press).
