On Saturday 14th September in Udine the 14th Edition of "Spirito di Vino" took place, the well-known international competition that awards the most amusing and original satirical cartoons on the theme of wine during Friuli DOC.
The best satirical-oenological cartoons to taste satire with irony.
Why "Spirito di Vino"?
"Spirito di Vino", the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Elda Felluga Wine Tourism Movement explains, "is a cross means of communication that talks through the smart and universal language of satire. Its point of strenght is to aim to play with irony
combining the ability of artistic expression of the participants and highlighting their thought on the meaning of wine in their countries in a direct and curious confrontation. We can be satisfied and
happy to see that from 2000 until now we have had an extraordinary jury all over the world.
A particular thanks goes from the great Masters of satire, from the extraordinary jury to the institutions that supported us all over these years."
The event aims to invite young people to the culture of drinking well, with awareness, in line with the ethic of quality and of a careful consumption.
2013 Edition fo Spirito di Vino
The competition was welcomed with a special enthusiasm at international level: over 500 cartoons coming from different countries, from Russia to Bulgaria, from USA to China, from Brasil to Norway, were sent.
