The Iberian city will host the event for the second time, after 1991.
All the ANA Sections will participate (80 Italian and 35 foreign) and approximately 500 thousand people are expected during the entire duration of the event (including Alpini, family members, supporters, etc.).
Why did the Alpine troops choose Vitevis?
Every year the Alpine National Board of Directors defines the partnerships and involves the most representative realities of the territory in which the event will take place. Companies that embody the values and spirit of the Alpine troops : concreteness, authenticity, sharing, memory and love for their land.
This is why the Alpini chose Vitevis , a cooperative made up of 1350 members (on an area of 2,800 hectares of vineyards) who share the same philosophy, based on the sustainability of production. A reality which, exactly like the Alpini, starting from the protection of tradition, looks to the future by involving many people through teamwork.
“For us it is certainly an honor” began Silvano Nicolato, President of Vitevis and former Alpino “we are 1200 families who directly or indirectly have at least one Alpino at home. During military service, the muster was an important and shared moment, a way to work as a team. Vitevis, like the Alpini, represents a team, we have achieved success thanks to our social structure.
We try to enhance a territory and transfer well-being by carrying out shared projects, we are made of the same cloth, we are Alpine in concepts and values and I believe that most of the people of this territory can be reflected in the values of the Alpine troops".
Two special boxes dedicated to the 95th National Alpine Gathering 2024
Stefano Argenton , Italian sales manager of Vitevis, presented as an absolute preview two special souvenir boxes dedicated to the 95th National Alpine Gathering 2024 .
The box set with 2 bottles (Lessini Durello DOC Spumante Brut Millesimato from Cantina di Gambellara and “Carlo V” Rosso Veneto IGT from Colli Vicentini) will be available at Sections, Alpine Groups and shops in the Province while the special pack of 3 bottles (Custoza DOC, Lessini Durello Spumante Brut and Bardolino DOC by Cantina del Garda) will be offered in large-scale distribution.
“The gathering is about sharing, friendship , when you are Alpine once you are Alpine forever” underlined Lino Marchiori, President of the ANA Vicenza Monte Pasubio Section. “The event will involve all sections of the province of Vicenza and our ossuaries, to remember those twenty-year-olds who fought in these mountains and sacrificed their lives”.
“As an association we want to convey knowledge and love for the territory” declared Sebastiano Favero, ANA national president. “ Our gatherings are a moment of leisure, but they also represent a testimony of gratitude for a territory and a moment of stimulation. A people cannot look forward if they do not have the ability to share and be aware of their territory. The Gathering is this, giving value to sociality: being together in front of a glass of wine means sharing a sign of friendship”.
