These are the last few weeks to enter Tenuta Stella's photography contest dedicated to the biodiversity of the Collio.

There is time until June 21, 2026 to participate in “The rebirth of the vineyard: landscape, flora and fauna at Tenuta Stella” , the first photography competition promoted by Tenuta Stella to tell, through the lens, the extraordinary biodiversity that characterizes the Scriò hills, in the heart of the Collio.

The initiative, open to all photography enthusiasts over 18, invites you to capture the beauty of the wine-growing landscape during the period of vegetative awakening, depicting the encounter between the vineyards and the spontaneous nature that surrounds them. From the hilly panoramas to the botanical details, to the fauna that inhabits these environments, each shot can contribute to enhancing a unique ecosystem, the result of the balance between agricultural activity and biodiversity protection.

"With this competition, we want to invite photographers and enthusiasts to observe the vineyard with a different perspective," Tenuta Stella explains. "The vine is just one part of a much larger ecosystem, made up of spontaneous meadows, flowers, pollinating insects, and wildlife. Describing this richness through photography helps spread a culture of sustainability and respect for the land."

Participants can take their photographs within the Tenuta Stella area and the Scriò area, choosing from three thematic categories: Landscape Architecture , dedicated to views of the vineyards and hills; Microsystems (Flora) , focused on blooms and botanical details; and Biodiversity (Fauna) , reserved for the animals that inhabit the estate's ecosystem.

The works will be judged by a panel of judges composed of the company's management, a professional photographer, and a botanist, who will award the shots that best capture the identity of the region. Up for grabs are a selection of Tenuta Stella prizes, including the prestigious Tenuta Stella Riserve Collection Luxury , participation in Tenuta Stella's Le Verticali tasting dinner, and a magnum of Ribolla Gialla or Friulano .

Participation is free. The complete rules are available on Tenuta Stella's official channels.

Deadline for registration and submission of works: June 21, 2026

STELLA ESTATE

Located in Scriò, in the municipality of Dolegna, in the highest part of the Collio, surrounded by mountains yet close to the sea, caressed by the Bora wind and cool breezes, Tenuta Stella is nestled in a land seemingly tailor-made for viticulture. Here, Sergio Stevanato has created a winery whose winemaking is based almost exclusively on native Friulian grape varieties, capable of producing fascinating and unique wines, and above all, capable of expressing, with every sip, the richness of the terroir from which they are born. The winery is run by Alberto Faggiani , agrotechnologist and head of winemaking , and Erika Barbieri , oenologist, technical manager, and marketing manager of Tenuta Stella. Quality and authenticity are the key words that have guided Tenuta Stella's production and operations since its founding in 2009. These values are closely linked to a sustainable approach aimed at preserving the precious ecosystem in which the winery is located, and to organic production, which has minimal impact and therefore does not involve the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. It is from the intertwining of these values that Tenuta Stella's philosophy emerges: going beyond winemaking to act as true cultivators of life, guardians of an ecosystem as rich as it is delicate.
