The expression Benefit Company defines all the realities which, in the exercise of an economic activity, in addition to the purpose of dividing its profits, pursue one or more purposes of common benefit and operate in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way towards people community, territories and environment, cultural and social assets and activities, bodies and associations and other stakeholders. This legal form was established by the 2016 Stability Law and constitutes a new economic model .
For Cecchetto, becoming a Benefit Company represents a further step towards the consolidation of an important sustainability path undertaken in 2017. The protection of the territory - in which today the company produces its wines, in particular its well-known interpretations of Raboso del Piave - takes place through the use of good practices both in the vineyard and in the cellar, but above all through dialogue with local communities to do business in a shared and inclusive way.
The company's first Sustainability Report was born from this vision in 2022, awarded by Corriere della Sera as the best in the Italian small and medium-sized enterprises category
