Le Manzane, over 25 thousand euros for a new school in Ghana

After 14 editions, the ®️Vendemmia Solidale has achieved the most important result in its history: €25,030.00 in proceeds, the largest contribution ever donated by the initiative, which will go towards the construction of a new school in Adanu, Ghana, within the In My Father's House mission founded by Father Giuseppe Rabbiosi, known to all as Father Peppino.

This milestone was made possible by several charitable initiatives promoted throughout 2025 by Le Manzane winery and the volunteers of In My Father's House, starting with the 14th edition of the ®️Vendemmia Solidale (Solidarity Harvest), which on September 7th involved over 500 aspiring winemakers in the splendid setting of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills. Alongside the grape harvest, a significant contribution also came from the sale of 7,500 bottles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Solidale during the Christmas period, one of the charitable initiatives created from the grapes harvested during the event.

The proceeds will go toward the construction of a new school in Adanu, a village where approximately one hundred children currently attend classes up to sixth grade, often in makeshift spaces. The foundations of the new structure have already been laid, and work, which began the week of March 10, will continue over the next few months, with the goal of completing the building within three to four months. Painting and finishing touches will take longer. The project includes the construction of a large multipurpose room for kindergarten (two classrooms), a chapel, a community meeting room, two classrooms, and a couple of rooms that can be used to house teachers or store desks and school supplies.

In November, Ernesto Balbinot, owner of the Le Manzane winery, along with his daughter Anna, and a group of volunteers from In My Father's House and its sister organization Nella Casa del Padre Mio, will travel to Ghana to personally deliver the check to Padre Peppino and visit the construction site of the new school.
