HISTORICAL FAMILIES ANNOUNCE BERTANI'S ENTRY INTO THE ASSOCIATION

Famiglie Storiche announces the exit of the Venturini company from the shareholding structure and the entry of Bertani, part of Angelini Wines & Estates.

Our association is made up of companies that, through their history and daily work, preserve and promote the identity of this extraordinary territory, sharing the goal of enhancing Amarone in Italy and in the world.”

With this new membership, Famiglie Storiche strengthens its path, keeping alive the dialogue and collaboration between some of the most representative realities of Valpolicella, in the name of quality and promotion of the wine symbol of the territory.

HISTORICAL FAMILIES
The Famiglie Storiche association was founded in June 2009 from the union of ten important wineries in Valpolicella, a renowned wine-producing area in the Verona area. Today the association has 13 members: Allegrini, Begali, Brigaldara, Guerrieri Rizzardi, Masi, Musella, Speri, Tedeschi, Tenuta Sant'Antonio, Tommasi, Torre D'Orti, Venturini and Zenato .
These are 13 historic wineries, which for generations have been producing wines appreciated all over the world, Amarone first and foremost. At the same time, the Historic Families are also ambassadors of Valpolicella , one of the most appreciated Italian and international wine-producing areas. Since 2010, the association has become the owner of the Antica Bottega del Vino , a place in the heart of Verona, founded in the sixteenth century. Even today, the Antica Bottega is one of the most famous and prestigious places in the Verona area.
The history of the Famiglie Storiche stems from a common denominator – the production of Amarone – and from an identity vision of the territory . A vision based on history, craftsmanship, ties to the territory and the desire to increase national and international knowledge of the wines produced in Valpolicella, Amarone first and foremost.
