A LITTLE STORY OF EXCELLENCE, CHARACTER, STRENGTH OF THE BRAND, RELIABILITY. In short, VALUE.

It is a family story, or rather of two families! And three generations ... this little story of wine that was born with very few hectares, about ten, managed to buy in 1967 in a Tuscany just out of sharecropping with little savings from two twenty-year-old boys, who met and became friends right in front of a glass of wine.

Red of course, Sangiovese grape. And they remained linked by an indissoluble friendship that also runs through their families, and by many other wines, MUST of the Tuscan designations of origin, as well as supertuscan and more.

Small history, but not so small, and great wines.

More than 50 years ago, from two twenty-year-old friends, one from Veneto, Giovanni Carlo Sacchet , one from Puglia, Antonio Mario Zaccheo , the Venetian just graduated oenologist in Conegliano, the Apulian who has always been a family in agriculture, they met sharing a dream beyond that the passion for Tuscany and for making wine.

Those were the days of Chianti in the fiasco and they instead had the ambition to make a great Sangiovese starting from the Chianti Classico. And they succeeded.

But not only that, they started with the Chianti Classico but did not stop: they wanted to produce the three most important denominations of the region, so after the Chianti Classico they began to produce the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and then the Brunello di Montalcino.

Now they are still the same two friendly families, their children, grandchildren, with 200 hectares of vineyards for over 500 km of rows, cultivated in a sustainable and carbon-neutral way.

Five estates in the topical places of Tuscany, the most beautiful of all: from Montepulciano to Montalcino, from Chianti Classico to Maremma. And an export that even in the Covid era has held with more than 70 countries around the world with wines that have become icons of the most prestigious DOCGs of Tuscany and always award-winning.

Innovators by vocation, Sacchet and Zaccheo, together with the new generations, Caterina Sacchet, oenologist, Elisabetta Sacchet, Francesca Zaccheo and Antonio Michael Zaccheo, with Anton Robert, just twenty years old and just joined the company, have continued to experiment, respecting the great values historical heritage of Tuscany and of a quality maintained to very high standards, with the aim of protecting the essence of the wines and the environment of which they are an expression and identity.

Charisma, style, great qualitative continuity, rigorous attention to excellence, prestigious international awards to be discovered in the area, in the vineyards of the 5 estates in the most suitable areas of Tuscany, continue to convince.

In tasting and not only if it is true that there are all requirements for listing on the stock exchange: reliability, solidity, strength of the brand, ability to give value.

This is why Carpineto got on the podium finishing in second place (after Sassicaia and before Berlucchi) of Le QUOTABILI 20 di Pambianco , 15th ed. of the Award broadcast via the web from Palazzo Mezzanotte headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange which this year for the first time introduced the WIN E category and the "Small Cap" section (companies with turnover of less than 50 million euros).

The ranking, which is then published, is compiled annually by Pambianco by examining the financial statements of unlisted companies in the reference sectors and ordering them in a ranking according to the quotability assessment model based on 8 parameters: growth% (2019-18 -17), average ebitda% (2019-18-17), brand awareness, size, export, control of distribution, debt and market segment (high, medium, low).

"A ranking and a publication which - as David Pambianco, CEO of Pambianco Strategie di Impresa points out - is considered an important point of reference for operators in the sectors analyzed. This year, moreover, we wanted to broaden the research by analyzing the small cap, collected in dedicated rankings. This innovation aims to further enhance the ability of our country to give space to companies that, although small in terms of size, are able to express excellence and character ".
