Grillo and Nero d'Avola DOC Sicilia protagonists of the new commercial produced by the Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Sicilia; a video that celebrates the island and its wines with evocative images of the vineyards and the entire island.

Unique characteristics that can also be found by tasting DOC Sicilia wines. A clear message that passes through evocative images that tell the way in which DOC Sicilia wines are synonymous with union and conviviality, unique products capable of bringing different people together at the same table, all in a unique context, in a union between sky and sea.

The same claim "Sicily, an island that unites" well translates into words the shots that show and enhance glimpses of cities and archaeological sites, of the vineyards, cradle of DOC Sicilia wines, of moments of joy that have wine as a common denominator.

"It is a great pleasure and pride to see the values of the Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Sicilia and of the Sicilian producers described in this commercial" - says Antonio Rallo, President of the Consortium - "The DOC Sicilia wines are in fact a symbol not only of quality but they represent an authentic union with the territory in which they are born, a uniqueness that we want to convey to all those who wish to discover this side of Sicily as well” .

Consortium for the Protection of DOC Sicily Wines

The Consorzio di Tutela Vini DOC Sicilia (siciliadoc.wine) came to life in 2012, with the aim of promoting DOC Sicilia wines, with actions aimed at increasing the visibility of a symbol of Made in Italy, as well as protecting the product with supervisory actions in defense of consumers and producers.

Almost 8,000 winegrowers and about 500 bottlers are promoters of the Controlled Designation of Origin, a recognition useful to represent them but also to enhance and safeguard the island's wine production. Sicily is the largest organic wine area in Italy: it represents 30% of the national surface and with its over 42 thousand hectares it also holds the record among the regions that practice sustainable viticulture, subject to organic or integrated production regulations
